retweetAfrica Utopia: Our picks!
Since early June till late September, The Southbank Centre has and will be a host to some of the summers most exciting cultural events. In its first year, the Africa Utopia festival is July’s highlight, and has already seen an incredible performance from blues legend and American Grammy Award winner Taj Mahal.
Running until the 28th July, Africa Utopia will be challenging the world’s view of Africa, and celebrating the continent through art, culture and debate. Not only that, but the entire festival is in collaboration with renowned Senegalese singer and human-rights campaigner Baaba Maal, who will also be performing.
