We recently celebrated our first birthday and what a first year it’s been! Over the past twelve months we’ve bought you everything from funny films starring famous actors, to serious interviews featuring former statesmen; we’ve conversed with you on social media and curated some of the very best in African content from across the web.
And what have we learnt from all this? I hear you cry! Well- apart from all the amazing things happening across the continent- we’ve learnt that there are thousands of people out there, people like you, who are passionate about seeing Africa differently– and we are grateful to each and every one!
As we head into our second year we want to continue to help others to see our favourite continent in a new light- after all there’s always more than one way to tell a story. There’s an old African proverb; “When the music changes, so does the dance.” This is no truer than when looking at all the developments that are occurring across Africa!
Over the next few days we’ll be remembering some of our favourite content from the past year and from next week we’ll be looking at Africa across the UK in our new postcards feature!
